This is my interpretation of the Biblical record of when Jacob who is the descendant of Abraham lay down after traveling and fell asleep and dreamed of heaven and saw in his dream angels "ascending and descending' up and down the ladder to heaven. The angels are described in Ezekiel chapter one and the dream in Genesis chapter 28:12 but of course I tried to paint Jewish/ Arabic looking people as the angels since I figured GOD would have shown those to a man of those ethnic groups. This is a huge painting 48 x 60 inches on canvas.
This painting is of an Indian Squaw Woman; in oils, 16 x 20 inches in size; painted by Gloria Poole, summer 2007 at Denver Colorado 80203; but I artist Gloria Poole have since moved to Missouri.
